Oil and gas conference in Bali moved to Singapore

An oil and gas conference scheduled to be held on the Indonesian resort island of Bali next week will be moved to Singapore amid security concerns after last weekend’s bomb blast. More than 100 delegates from some of the world’s biggest oil trading companies, including major Japanese oil trading giants, are expected to attend the annual “Condensate Forum” that was scheduled to be held on 24–5 October at a resort hotel in Bali. The event will still be held on the scheduled date despite venue being be moved to Singapore. Delegates from some 15 countries are expected to attend the event, including the USA, Japan, Australia, Britain and Germany.
