On February 28, Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Corporation (NSSMC) started development of TranTixxii™1, a designing titanium product, and launched a website2 dedicated to this product.
Titanium is lightweight, highly durable and has high specific strength. It has a wide range of applications such as aerospace and electric power and chemical plants. NSSMC’s technology, accumulated in steelmaking, and the partner company’s technology have been combined to start the branding development of TranTixxii™, a designing titanium product featuring an elegant exterior that was uniquely developed by NSSMC.
Due to its superior resistance to discoloration and non-coating coloring technology, TranTixxii™ has over 100 color variations and expands the freedom of expression by combining various surface textures such as roldal finishing, blast finishing and Hyperbeta™.
