Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Corporation announced that Mr. Naoki Konno would retire as managing executive officer of Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Corporation on March 31st and take office as advisor from April 1st.
Mr. Naoki Konno has been nominated for the post of managing executive officer of Nisshin Steel Co., Ltd. from April 1st and for the position of Director, Member of the Board and Managing Executive Officer of Nisshin Steel Co., Ltd. in late June 2017.
In addition, Mr. Naoki Konno will retire as Advisor of Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Corporation when he will take up the new assignment at Nisshin Steel Co., Ltd.
