NPCC wins ONGC equipment contract

National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC) has been awarded an engineering and construction contract worth USD 149.7 million from India’s Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC). NPPC will build the WO-16 cluster and SB-14 wellhead platforms project at the offshore Mumbai High Field. As per the contract, the scope of work includes engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, hook-up, pre-commissioning and commissioning for five wellhead platforms. NPCC carried out the B-22 field development project and the RS-12 well platform project, both of which were simultaneously completed in 18 months and handed over in April 2011. The company is also executing the B-series – 6 wellhead platforms project, which will be completed in April 2012.
