Northwest Pipe Company, an engineered welded steel pipe products company, was selected to supply pipe for contracts 4B, 4C, 4D and 4F, a multi-million USD pipeline project that runs between Wyodak and Moorcroft Wyoming.
The project includes approximately 22mi of 42” diameter, cement mortar-lined and polyurethane-coated spiral-welded steel pipe for a pipeline that will expand the city of Gillette’s groundwater sources and, when complete, provide a new water treatment and conveyance system for the city and surrounding areas. “Northwest Pipe Company is proud to supply the pipe required for the Gillette project”, said Martin Dana, executive vice president of Sales & Marketing. “We have a strong working relationship with S.J. Louis, and we look forward to adding this important regional project to our list of successful pipeline projects.”
The pipeline is being constructed by S.J. Louis Construction out of Rockville, Minnesota. Construction is scheduled to begin summer 2014 and be completed by October 2015.
