Highland Foundry Ltd, Surrey, BC Canada, is pleased to announce the successful completion of updating the 22Cr (MDS D46) Duplex and 25Cr (MDS D56) Super Duplex casting Qualification Test Records (QTR’s) to the current Rev.5 for NORSOK M-630 Edition 6 and M-650 Edition 4.
In addition, it has updated the MDS-R16 (CK3MCuN/254-SMO/6Mo) to the current Rev.5.
The NORSOK standards were developed by the Norwegian petroleum industry to ensure adequate safety, value-adding, and cost-effectiveness for existing and future petroleum industry developments and operations.
Highland Foundry has been working with this well-established, recognized, and widely referred to a standard for the past 14 years in addition to being included on approved and qualified vendor lists (AVL’s) for Duplex and Super Duplex castings for many of the major oil companies.
