Nords AS has invested in a new facility of XXXX m2 in order to double the capacity for socket and nipples in stainless steel. Besides expanding the Estonian operations the capacity for threaded fittings and custom-made products has been increased in the main site in Molkom Sweden where Nords International AB is located. The operations in Helsinki, Finland at SH-Teksor Oy have developed both capacity and capability for custom-made production of components in stainless steel to meet increasing demands too. Besides the investment program in machines, all units are approaching climate neutrality in 2024. The Finish and Swedish operations have reduced the scope 1&2 carbon dioxide emissions with 99% since initiating the work in 2014. Estonian operations are far progressed and the new facility is a big step towards the goal by means of district heating based on biofuel.
