Nippon raises SS prices

Japan’s largest stainless steel producer Nippon Steel & Sumikin Stainless Corp. has raised prices of stainless steel for a sixth straight month in June because of higher nickel costs and a seventh rise may follow. Nippon Steel & Sumikin increased prices for its 304 grade steel to JPY 365,000 a metric ton, from JPY 335,000 in May.
