As part of its expansion strategy in Central & Eastern Europe, Arcelor Mittal will invest in a new Steel Service Centre (SSC) in Krakow, Poland. With a processing capacity of 450 000tpy, this facility will strengthen the existing network of SSC operations in Poland, in Huta Sendzimira (Krakow) and in Bytom (near Katowice). It will start operating early in the 4th quarter of 2007.
