ABS has launched a range of freshwater pumps. For many years the company has been supplying the building services market. It is now introducing three new models to Europe: the AJ, a self-priming stainless-steel jet pump; the AC, a multi-stage centrifugal pump; and pressure boosters. The pressure set using AJ or AC pumps delivered complete with steel expansion tanks. These pumps are designed for pumping clean water and non-aggressive fluids. They are considered reliable, economical and simple to use. The pumps offer high hydraulic pressure as well as high flow rate performance in a silent operating environment. Typical applications would be pumping and distribution of water in domestic systems, booster systems, fire-fighting, and washing and irrigation systems. Some of the features include AISI 304 stainless steel pump casing, aluminium motor bracket, technopolymer impellers, stainless steel rotors and seal holding plates, and graphite mechanical seals with ceramic counterfaces.
