Axium Processâs (UK) Pure-Screen wedge wire stainless steel filter range now includes duplex, multiplex and jacketed filter options. The filters are manufactured in 316L stainless steel, and are suitable for temperature sensitive applications such as chocolate production, for critical applications where filter failure or collapse is not an option and for applications where product smoothness and consistency are essential. Available in a 4â? body design as standard, the Pure-Screen filter range employs no âOâ? rings, and has a metal to metal seal design which ensures that the filter element can be removed easily and without sticking. Elements are interchangeable and are available as standard from 25 up to 3000 micron. Standard filter options include a 90º, in-line or straight through design as well as the Pure-Screen compact filter which is designed for use in confined areas or where flow rates are low. Sample valves, drain or vent valves can be integrated into any of the options as can isolation or back flush valves if required.
