New mass flow-meter

BUTTING introduces the new mass flow-meter designed by Rheonik, Germany. This flow-meter is noted for its functional and constructional features which consists of the patented Omega shaped torsion swinger. This torsion swinger is made by BUTTING and composed of a welded stainless steel pipe produced to tight tolerances of form and position, which make up the essential parts of the Omega shape. The Rheonik flow-meter can be used under extreme process conditions, i.e. temperature range of -200° C up to + 400°C and pressures of more than 890 bars. The production is controlled by radioscopic examination, especially the welded joints of the torsion swinger, which are exposed to high strains due to the torsional movement during the measuring process.
