On 7 July 2009 Severstal introduced a new corporate brand identity and launched an updated corporate website to reflect the truly global nature of the company and its status as a leader in the metals and mining industry. The new brand will be used across the entire company and visualize its modern structure through a high-quality, universally recognizable image. Management’s strategy for the implementation of the brand includes a smooth, incremental transition to a unified brand architecture and the use of a singular graphic logo across all of Severstal’s business units by the end of 2010. The new website was created in a style consistent with the new corporate brand identity. The primary goal of the website is to provide all of its visitors with up-to-date, comprehensive information about the company in a user-friendly format. In addition to the new design and updated information about all Severstal’s business units, the website will add new services to help customers, suppliers, investors and others interested in the company find the relevant information, including global business contacts, full-text search and a corporate calendar.
