Peter Prozesky has been appointed as the new CEO of WANO (World Association of Nuclear Operators). Peter will officially take up the position on 1 January 2016, replacing current WANO CEO, Ken Ellis. WANO Chairman, Jacques Régaldo said, “It is with great pleasure that we announce the appointment of Peter Prozesky to WANO Chief Executive Officer, as of 1 January 2016. Peter brings with him a wealth of experience from the nuclear industry which will help him to continue the great work of Ken Ellis in guiding the association on its path to excellence. I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Peter on his new appointment, and we look forward to welcoming him officially into this position in the New Year.”
