PAO Severstal announced Vadim Larin, previously COO of Severstal Management, as CEO of Severstal Management in line with company’s plans announced earlier on 27 April 2015. The position of COO no longer exists.

Larin has been the COO of Severstal Management since 2013. Larin joined Severstal in 2003 as a CEO of Intaugol. He became a CEO of Kuzbassugol in 2005 and a CEO of Vorkutaugol in 2007. Larin was appointed a CEO of Severstal Resources mining division in 2010. Prior to joining Severstal, Vadim worked at McKinsey& Company.
