Netherlands: Shell to expand IPA plant

Shell Nederland Chemie BV plans to boost the capacity of its Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) plant at Pernis by 50,000 tonnes/year with an expansion expected to come on-stream in the second quarter of 2006. The additional production is intended to improve the overall efficiency of the unit.
