Baosteel Group Shanghai No. 5 Steel Co. Ltd (China), has placed an order with Morgan Construction Co., Worcester, Mass., USA, for a single-strand rod outlet to produce specialty and stainless steel products. The order includes the very latest technology and designs for the No-Twist® mill, including high-speed trimming shear, reducing/sizing mill with on-line and off-line roll units, as well as two compactors, one wire tie and one strap. Equipment will be designed at the company’s Worcester headquarters, with manufacturing to be done at the company’s production facilities at Morgan-Worcester and Morgan-China in Shanghai.
