Mittal Steel has announced the appointment of Mr Enrico Mario Reato as CEO of Mittal Steel South Africa with effect from 15 September 2006. Mr Reato succeeds Mr Davinder Chugh, who has resigned as CEO from Mittal Steel SA to take up his new position as a member of the board of Arcelor Mittal although he will remain a member of the board of Mittal Steel SA. Mr Reato, who is currently COO of Mittal Steel SA, has been with the company for 31 years and was appointed as COO in 2005.
