Mittal Steel has announced that several changes have been announced by the company. Mr Aditya Mittal, who had resigned from the board of the South African company, will be replaced by Mr Malay Mukherjee. The company has appointed Saldanha Steel GM Mr Johan Fourie as COO. Mr Heinrich Kriel works manager at Vanderbijlpark will succeed Mr Fourie as GM of Saldanha Steel. Mr Jose Gutierrez rolling manager at the Newcastle plant has been appointed GM at Vereeniging.
