Mill Steel Co., a major distributor of flat-rolled carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminium in the U.S., has acquired Maryland Metals Processing (MMP), a major stainless and aluminium toll processor based in Baltimore. MMP specializes in services such as cut-to-length, polishing, slitting, and coil enhancement.
Mill Steel acknowledges MMP’s strong reputation for excellent toll processing and plans to maintain MMP’s independence, allowing it to retain its name, business model, and staff. The acquisition will also enhance toll processing capacity at MMP’s facility.
