MICRODYN-NADIR has recently made the acquisition of specialty membrane company TriSep Corporation. The Goleta, California, based company has profound experience and expertise in the area of reverse osmosis and nanofiltration and has built a strong reputation for successfully customizing solutions to the need of their broad customer base. The acquisition will allow MICRODYN-NADIR to be a one-stop shop with a wide range of membrane filtration products. Customers will benefit from having one membrane supplier to meet all of their requirements. MICRODYN-NADIR is the water treatment unit of global filtration group MANN+HUMMEL.
âThis is a strategic purchase to increase MICRODYN-NADIRâs capability to service the water treatment market and process separations, not only across North America, but around the world,â? said Walter Lamparter, CEO of MICRODYN-NADIR. âPooling our expertise with the strengths of TriSep will be easy, because we have been working well with each other for almost 20 years. Itâs a tried, tested and true partnership that will enable us to accelerate our growth in the water filtration business.â?
TriSep will continue operating under the leadership of Peter Knappe, TriSepâs President, as Managing Director of TriSep, reporting to Lamparter. The acquisition increases MICRODYNNADIRâs product offerings and its global reach into the dairy, food, beverage and pharmaceutical markets as well as municipal and industrial water/wastewater treatment.
