Metso Corporation will supply minerals processing equipment to Taigang Group Lanxian Mining Co Limited (TISCO). The order consists of seven units of vertical plate pressure filters, wear and spare parts, as well as services related to installation, start-up, commissioning and technical supervision. The delivery is for concentrate filtering for TISCO’s Yuanjiacun iron ore processing plant in Lan county, Shanxi. The plant is scheduled to begin operation in May 2012 with a daily processing capacity of 22,000tns to 23,000tns of iron ore concentrate. The delivery is scheduled for the first quarter of 2012. Designed to process 22 million tns of raw iron ore per year, the Yuanjiacun plant, when complete, will be the largest iron ore processing plant in China.
