Mammoet bags new oil refinery contract

During a signing ceremony in Lagos, the Dangote Group of Companies and Mammoet signed the contract for a project for a new multi-billion-dollar refinery to be built by the Dangote Group of Companies in resource-rich Nigeria. It will have a capacity of 650,000 barrels per day and will boost economic growth in Nigeria, generating thousands of jobs. The refinery is scheduled to come onstream in 2019, will increase the country’s oil exports and reduce its reliance on imports of petroleum products.

Mammoet contracted to provide heavy lifting and transport solutions for new Dangote Oil Refinery.

Under the contract, Mammoet will be transporting, lifting and installing all over-dimensional cargo for the refinery.
