The first UK demonstration of the stainless steel Extreme Environment Legend XE camera will take place at IPOT (16/17 February, Hall 12, NEC Birmingham, UK. The Legend XE, launched six months ago, is an extreme environment machine vision system that achieves an IP68 rating for dust, wash-down, and corrosion protection. This makes it suitable for harsh, high humidity or wash-down environments, common in the food processing industry for example. The new camera system is configured in a stainless steel enclosure, and includes the Legend 550 camera featuring Texas Instruments DSP technology and increased memory.
