Lurgi S.A awarded contracts

Lurgi S.A. Krakow, Poland, a subsidiary of Lurgi AG, has signed a contract with Grupa Lotus S.A. (Gdansk, Poland) for the construction of a hydrogen plant, a crude oil distillation unit as well as a vacuum distillation unit. The order value of the hydrogen plant, which will be designed for a capacity of 7mt/h, amounts to over EUR 80 million. The special feature of this hydrogen plant is its capacity to process a diversity of feedstocks such as natural gas, naphtha and liquid-petroleum gas. The total capacity of the crude oil/vacuum-distillation complex, with an order value of EUR 102 million, will amount to 4.5 million mt/yr of crude oil. The projects will be executed under the leadership of Lurgi S.A., Krakow. The plant is scheduled for commissioning in the second half of 2009.
