Dr.-Ing. Hans-Peter Schmohl, 59, member of the Executive Board of Linde AG, Wiesbaden, will leave the company for personal reasons with effect of 31 December 2003. This was announced by Linde after a regular Supervisory Board Meeting on 16 September 2003. Mr. Schmohl joined the Linde Executive Board in February 2000 and is responsible for the Material Handling Business Segment. Dr. Wolfgang Reitzle, President and CEO of Linde, will take over responsibility for the Material Handling Business Segment until a successor for Mr. Schmohl is announced.
