Trinity Inc. recently built a USD 10 million spiral weld pipe mill. The new plant produced approximately 25,000 tons of pipe in 2007 and is slated to double that in 2008 with a fully manipulated welding wave in a submerged arc application. Utilizing Lincoln Electric’s Power Wave AC/DC 1000 submerged arc power source, the company realized a 20% productivity increase at the new plant. Trinity fabricates pipe for utility and infrastructure construction, as well as billboards, high-rise signs and cell, water and wind towers.
