Leslie Controls has announced the availability of the Laurence Air Extraction Valve, made of stainless steel. The Air Extraction Valve is critical for gas turbine compressor surge protection. These valves eliminate the problems associated with valve disc sticking by providing an all stainless steel valve body and actuator with a single main bearing to prevent binding from heat distortion. The Laurence Air Extraction Valve is available in 6″, 8″ and 10″ sizes, with spacers to adapt to various turbine configurations. High-temperature Haydon® limit switches are a standard feature.
