Kitz DJ Series wins WRAS approval

Kitz Corporation has achieved approval by the UK Water Regulations Advisory Scheme (WRAS) for the Kitz ductile iron body DJ series butterfly valves for use on potable water applications. Having met the latest standards (BS 6920:2000) a range of EPDM lined butterfly valves with either nickel-plated or stainless steel discs are available for general purpose services and potable water use. The Kitz Wafer design can be coupled with BS 4504 PN10, PN 16 or BS 10 Table D & E in addition to ASME Class 125 & 150lb flanges. The lugged version is compatible with BS 4504 PN 16 flanges, ASME Class 150lb available on request. The current range spans from 50 mm to 300 mm. Larger sizes up to 600mm will be available later this year.
