KBR wins multi-phased contract

KBR, Inc., a technology, engineering, procurement and construction Company, has recently declared that it has been awarded a multi-phased contract for Front-End Engineering and Design (FEED) for the Woodfibre Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Project. The Woodfibre LNG Project is located in the District of Squamish near Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Under the terms of the contract, KBR’s Houston office will provide FEED services for the proposed 2.1 MTPA liquefaction plant and export facility. This work will include FEED optimization, pre-FEED, FEED, and development of a fixed price offer for engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services.

The contract is multi-phased and the first phase will be booked into backlog of unfilled orders for KBR’s E&C business segment the first quarter of 2016.
