JSW Steel has named Robert Simon as the new Chief Executive Officer of JSW, USA. Taking on this pivotal role, Simon will assume responsibility for directing the entirety of the company’s operations across the United States, with a focus on managing the production and sales of a diverse range of products, including slabs, coils, pipes, and plates at strategic locations such as Baytown and Mingo Junction. Prior to joining JSW USA, Simon garnered extensive experience through his tenure with various companies, notably including OmniTrax in Denver, Colorado. Additionally, he has held the esteemed position of Chairman of the Steel Manufacturers Association in the USA, underscoring his deep-rooted understanding of the industry’s dynamics and intricacies.
