Jindal Stainless, India’s major stainless steel manufacturer, commenced the second batch of its fully-sponsored two-year M.Tech. programme in Steel Technology in partnership with the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay for its employees. The sponsorship programme is in line with the company’s vision to improve lives through innovating for better processes and practices, and maintain its competitive edge in creating sustainable and world-class solutions.
Designed with the intent to deepen employees’ knowledge of iron and steel-making technology, the tailor-made programme focuses on keeping participants abreast with latest industry innovations. The eligibility criteria for enrolment in this sponsored course includes at least three years tenure at Jindal Stainless or its subsidiaries, a B.Tech degree in Mechanical or Metallurgy with a minimum of 60% aggregate, and a consistent high performance in the organisation.
Upon successful completion of the course, employees will be considered for job rotation to ensure they get the right opportunities for application of their research findings and learnings.
