Jindal & ISM joint R&D projects

Jindal Stainless Ltd (JSL) and the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (ISM) have signed an MoU to jointly carry out R&D on various projects. The MoU was signed by Vice President, SMS, JSL, Mr Awanindra Kumar Singh and Director, IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, Mr Rajiv Shekhar.

Managing Director, JSL, Mr Abhyuday Jindal said, “As India’s largest manufacturer of a sustainable metal, we take pride in endorsing green initiatives in production. IIT (ISM) is a premier institute with major strength in minerals and related efficiencies, and hence a natural partner for collaboration.”

Both partners will explore R&D opportunities for a plethora of technological frontiers, and jointly work towards finding effective solutions for various technological and operational challenges faced by JSL.
