Jinchuan Group will begin researching and developing high-quality austenitic stainless products as it eyes a downstream expansion. The studies will be carried out at the company’s Nickel-Cobalt New Material Engineering Technology Research Centre in China, and are open to co-operation with outside bodies. According to the company, it has also increased investment in the development of nickel and nickel-based alloys with a special team working on constructing a production line.
