Jacobs wins Eastman contract

Jacobs Engineering Group has been selected to provide architecture, engineering and interior design services for Eastman Chemical Company’s new corporate business centre in Kingsport, Tenn. The new business centre is part of Project Inspire, a USD 1.6 billion growth initiative that coincides with the Eastman centennial. Scheduled for completion in 2015, the corporate building centre modernizes and expands Eastman’s corporate campus.

In making the announcement, Jacobs CEO Craig Martin stated, “We’re very pleased that our strategic relationship with Eastman continues to progress. We value the opportunities we have to continue making significant contributions to their growth plan.”

Jacobs has worked on capital construction projects, and provided program management services and site maintenance support for the Eastman Tennessee Operations Manufacturing Site in Kingsport under a continuous presence contract since 2010.
