Jacobs wins Dutch refining contracts

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. has announced that a subsidiary company has received a letter of intent from the Netherlands Refining Company bv (Nerefco) to take over multiple ongoing projects at their oil refinery in The Netherlands. The Nerefco oil refinery (a joint venture between BP and ChevronTexaco) is located in the Europort area in The Netherlands, and has the largest crude oil refining capacity in Europe. Officials did not disclose the contract value. In addition, Jacobs has received contracts to provide engineering, design, procurement, and construction management services for multiple projects at Nerefco’s refinery in Rotterdam. These include upgrading the amine and hydrofiner units and clean fuels projects at Nerefco.
