International Stainless Steel forum have released interim figures for 2016 showing that stainless steel melt shop production increased by 10.2% year–to–date. In Western Europe/Africa, it was 2.4%, in Central & Eastern Europe was -4.6%, in the Americas 6.7%, in Asia without China it was 4.8%, and in China 15.7%.
The International Stainless Steel Forum (ISSF) is a non-profit research organization based in Brussels which represents the interests of the international stainless steel industry towards the general public, consumers, the media and regulatory authorities. The Forum was founded in 1996.
