Iron ore facility in Indonesia

The Indonesian government confirmed that the ground breaking of China-based steel factory PT Mandan Stell would be done in the end of August 2009. The ground breaking for Mandan Steel, a factory which is a part of China Nickel Resources Holding network, was previously planned to be done in April along with Meratus Jaya Iron and Steel’s ground breaking. The width of Mandan Steel factory reaches 1400 hectares and it is predicted that the factory will produce 1 million tonnes of iron ore with a USD 500 million investment.
