Iran and Oman have signed a memorandum of understanding to jointly construct the Hormoz urea and ammoniac production unit in the South Pars region, of northern Iran. Mr Gholam Hossein Nozari oil Minister of Iran and Mr Maqbool bin Ali Sultan commerce Minister of Oman inked a MoU. The petrochemical unit is projected to annually produce around one million tons of ammoniac and 650,000tns of urea.
