IPP Group has appointed Andy Rigby to the Group, effective 26 March 2012. Andy will join IPP as Technical Sales Manager for IPP Mardale in addition to a group role as Group Metallurgy and Technical Product Development. He is a qualified metallurgist with experience in the materials testing industry. His most recent position was as Technical Engineer and Projects Manager for a UK company and his past experience includes Laboratory Manager where he was jointly responsible for the metallurgical laboratory at one of the UK’s largest testing facilities. Rigby has industry recognized engineering design qualifications, a foundation degree in metallurgy and was a 2003 finalist at The British Academy Young Engineer of the Year. He is a member of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining.
Jared Ayres, the CEO of IPP Group said, “This is another key appointment of a quality individual who will enhance our experience across the IPP Group. Andy will increase our strength with new opportunities and will have a role to develop IPP as a qualified Norsok Manufacturer for special flanges”.
