IPP appoints Webb as Group Quality Engineer

IPP Group, one of the world leaders in the supply of premium-quality pipes, tubes, fittings, flanges and specialist forgings for the gas, petrochemical, oil and nuclear Industries, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Nick Webb as Group Quality Engineer.

Webb has many years’ experience of developing and maintaining quality systems within the manufacturing industry and, until recently, worked with one of the UK’s largest manufacturer of extruded products specifically for the electrical generation and nuclear industry. He is also a registered lead auditor and experienced metallurgist with a proven track record of failure investigation and product development.

Webb will be developing the Quality Management System throughout the IPP companies based at the Barton site. This will include supplier development and addressing customer concerns through an 8D approach.

Group Technical Manager Mr Andy Rigby said, “We are delighted to appoint Nick into this important role, his experience of quality management systems will be fully utilised for the greater benefit of the group.
