India: BHEL wins power plant order

Indian power plant equipment maker Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd has won a 6.25-billion-rupee order to set up a 210 MW thermal power plant in Madhya Pradesh. BHEL, owned 67.7 percent by the government, has said that the order was placed by the Madhya Pradesh state power utility for its Amarkantak power station and was scheduled to be completed in 29 months.
