Hygienic conveyor

Following increased attention on hygiene in the food and dairy industry, FlexLink has launched the second generation of its modular hygienic conveyor concept. The design features open and self draining surfaces. The new design, materials, close tolerances and speed control make the conveyor lubrication-free, which prevents contamination of the products conveyed. The new chain allows for conveyor speeds of up to 100m per minute while maintaining the stability of the products conveyed. The stainless steel conveyor is prepared for attachment of an optional automatic cleaning-in-place system, which reduces consumption of hot water by 50% and detergents by 80%. The equipment is covered by FlexLink engineering tools and is available as pre-assembled modules in order to safeguard short project and lead times.
