Hygienic angle seat valves – food & beverage production

Schubert & Salzer is extending its range of sterile and aseptic valves by two new types of hygienic angle seat valves.

The shut-off valve type 7015 and the control valve type 7025 with integrated digital positioner are specially adapted for use in the production of food and beverages. These valves are used to control and shut off product streams, drinking water, CO2 and nitrogen, as well as sterile steam and sterile air.

The new valve types in the nominal sizes DN 15-50 and the pressure class PN 40 are suitable for media with temperatures from −30 °C to +170 °C and in special versions even from −50 °C to +180 °C. All wetted plastics are FDA-compliant and conform to the EC Regulation 1935/2004 as well as the EU Plastic Regulation 10/2011. Both valve types meet the requirements according to the Technical Instructions on Air Quality Control (12-2021) together with EN ISO 15848-1:2017.
