HUBER supply 85 machines for Barueri wastewater plant

HUBER SE has received the major order in the company’s history in the field of mechanical pre-treatment through its Brazilian subsidiary HUBER do Brasil. The company is supplying 85 machines for the expansion of the major wastewater treatment plant in Barueri near the Brazilian metropolis of São Paulo. The wastewater capacity of the plant will be increased from the current 16 m³/s (16,000 litters per second) to 22.5 m³/s and a maximum capacity of 34 m³/s.

The order comprises an immense number of 85 machines, which will be manufactured at HUBER SE’s headquarters in Berching in the approx. 44,000 m² production facility.

The company is supplying the following machines: 24x HUBER Multi-Rake Bar Screen RakeMax®, 12x HUBER Launder Channel HLC, 12x HUBER Screenings Wash Press WAP® L, 20x HUBER Grit Trap GritWolf®, 10x HUBER Coanda Grit Washing Plant RoSF4, 5x HUBER Coarse Screen TrashMax®, 2x HUBER Grab Screen TrashLift.

The project is part of the “Integra Tietê” program, which promotes the ecological restoration of the river and the achievement of Brazil’s wastewater targets by 2029.
