COADE has announced that Dairen Chemical Corp. has completed the design of its USD 60 million AAL-2 (Allyl Alcohol) facility in Jiangsu, China, its first using COADE’s CADWorx Plant Professional plant design software, completing it under budget by an estimated 60% and with 12,000 man-hours, 80% under initial estimates. Of the USD 60 million project cost, only about 1% was required for the design phase, an achievement that would not have been possible without CADWorx Plant Professional. This interface allows the plant designers and stress engineers to seamlessly pass information back and forth throughout the design process to ensure the design integrity of the finished facility and its piping systems.
