Honeywell has appointed Bernard Pellereau as president, Europe, for its Specialty Materials business, effective 1 March 2005. Mr Pellereau will be based in Brussels and report to Honeywell Specialty Materials President and CEO Nance Dicciani. He will be responsible for leading Specialty Materials’ overall operations and business development efforts in Europe, as well as India. Mr Pellereau brings more than 25 years of experience in the chemical industry to this new position. He joins Honeywell from Huntsman Petrochemical Corp., where he led the company’s European polyethylene business operations. Prior to this role, he spent 20 years with Dow Chemical, serving in numerous leadership positions in sales, marketing and technical services within the Dow’s European operation.
