HHI wins sub-sea pipeline project

HHI has won an order for sub-sea pipelines worth USD 120 million from SINOPEC (China Petroleum & Chemical Corp.) on a turn-key basis. The pipelines will be laid across Hangzhou Bay, about 50km to the south of Shanghai, and will consist of a series of separate 28�, 30� and 10� lines for crude oil and naphtha transport (53.5km each for a total of 160km). The company intends to deliver the finished product by April 2004.
