HHI signs MOU with GE

Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI), shipbuilder, has recently declared that it has signed an MOU with General Electric Company (GE) for a comprehensive cooperation for the development of GOGES (COmbined Gas turbine Electric and Steam) package about LNG carriers.

At the event, two companies discussed agendas including the technical development progress and economic feasibility of COGES package and joint sales activities at LNG18, an upcoming international LNG conference and exhibition in April in Australia this year. HHI and GE also agreed to further expand business cooperation to areas including industrial plants, marine engine, ship equipment and medical robot businesses.
