The Genflo S jet pump has no moving parts and can be used to transfer slurries, solids, powders and liquids including most acids, alkalis oils and harsh abrasives. The latest model can transfer solids or liquids by up to 30m vertically and substantially more horizontally.
Constructed of austenitic stainless steel, brass and high chrome iron materials, the pump is robust and non-reactive to most chemicals and any sparking, making it suitable for potentially explosive environments.
Typical applications include hopper duties for feed slurries, a vacuum generator, and dry or submerged fluid handling duties. The pump can be driven by the most convenient supply – be it water, air, steam, mud, or any other motive process stream, making it versatile and applicable to many different duties. According to the manufacturers, it can also be suspended or held at an angle without affecting performance. The relatively lightweight design should help ease the installation process and enhance the portability of the pump.
